Building your credit should be simple. Clevura provides secure, smart tools to help you report your credit accurately and take control of your financial journey.
Four straightforward steps to start building your credit history with Clevura's secure reporting platform.
Create your account and complete our secure identity verification. Takes just a few minutes.
Select the credit reporting plan that fits your goals — Starter, Builder, or Accelerator. Pay a simple monthly fee, no credit score minimum required.
Clevura reports your structured installment account to Experian in Metro 2 format every month.
Your on-time payment history builds over time, contributing to your credit profile and score.
Clevura is designed from the ground up to meet the highest standards of consumer protection and credit reporting accuracy.
We operate as a licensed data furnisher under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Your data is reported accurately and responsibly.
Every account undergoes KYC identity verification and OFAC screening before activation. No exceptions.
We transmit data using the industry-standard Metro 2 format — the same standard used by major lenders and financial institutions.
We are transparent: Clevura is not a credit repair organization. We build positive payment history, not dispute old negatives.
Clevura LLC is a Wyoming-registered company operating under applicable state and federal consumer protection laws.
No hidden fees. No confusing terms. Clear pricing, clear service description, and full disclosure before you enroll.
Clevura's credit-builder subscription service is currently live for Wyoming residents. We're actively expanding to additional states — join the waitlist to be notified when we launch in your state.
Clevura offers a subscription-based credit reporting service and, for Wyoming residents, a licensed installment loan product.
A paid subscription reporting service — not a loan. No funds are disbursed to you. Clevura reports a structured installment account to Experian each month based on your actual subscription payments. The dollar amount shown on each plan reflects the size of the account we report on your behalf — think of it as the "credit limit" of the installment account in your credit file.
A licensed consumer installment loan product offered exclusively to qualifying Wyoming residents under Clevura's Wyoming Consumer Lender License. This involves actual disbursement of loan funds governed by Wyoming UCCC.
Wyoming resident? Express interest and we'll reach out when fully launched:
Understanding exactly what happens when you enroll with Clevura.
Complete your application and pass our KYC identity verification. We screen every applicant against OFAC sanctions lists — no exceptions.
Review and e-sign your service agreement and E-Sign Consent. All documents delivered electronically. No printing required.
Your monthly subscription fee is charged. This is the actual payment we report — real payment history, not simulated activity.
We transmit your account data to Experian in Metro 2 format every month. Your payment history builds over time.
The credit-builder subscription service will be available in additional states soon. Join our waitlist and we'll notify you the moment Clevura launches in your state.
Everything you need to know about Clevura's services, compliance, and how credit building works.
No. The Clevura Credit-Builder Subscription Service is not a loan. No funds are disbursed to you. You are paying a monthly subscription fee in exchange for Clevura reporting a structured installment account to Experian on your behalf. This is a paid credit reporting service — not a credit product or extension of credit. The Wyoming Installment Loan product is a separate offering available only to Wyoming residents, and it does involve the actual disbursement of loan funds.
Clevura does not guarantee any specific improvement to your credit score. Credit score outcomes depend on many factors outside of our control, including your existing credit profile, your payment behavior on all accounts, and the scoring models and policies used by individual credit bureaus. Consistent, on-time payments on your Clevura account contribute positively to your payment history over time, but results will vary by individual.
Clevura currently reports to Experian. We are actively working to add Equifax and TransUnion as approved data furnishers. We'll notify waitlist members and existing customers as additional bureaus are added. All reporting uses the industry-standard Metro 2 format.
No. Clevura LLC is not a credit repair organization as defined under the federal Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) or any applicable state law. We do not dispute negative items on your credit report, negotiate with creditors, or provide debt settlement services. Our service is limited to reporting your positive payment activity on your subscription account to participating credit bureaus. We cannot and do not promise to remove negative information from your credit report.
The Credit-Builder Subscription Service is currently available to Wyoming residents. The Wyoming Installment Loan product is also Wyoming-only at this time. We are actively expanding to additional states and will notify waitlist members as new states become available. Join our waitlist and select your state — we'll reach out the moment Clevura launches where you live.
Every Clevura applicant must complete identity verification through our automated KYC (Know Your Customer) platform before their account is activated. This includes providing a government-issued photo ID, completing a liveness check, and having your information screened against OFAC sanctions lists. No account is activated without completed KYC and OFAC screening. This is required by law and helps protect all consumers in our network.
If a payment fails, we'll attempt to notify you and retry the payment. If the payment cannot be collected, we are required by law to accurately report your account status — which may include reporting a missed payment to Experian. Accurate reporting — both positive and negative — is a legal requirement under the FCRA. We encourage you to keep your payment method current and to contact us immediately if you anticipate payment difficulties.
You can cancel your Credit-Builder Subscription at any time by contacting us at support@clevura.com. Cancellation will stop future billing. Reporting will cease for the monthly cycle following your confirmed cancellation. Prepaid plans are non-refundable once the reporting period has begun. Monthly plans do not have a cancellation fee.
Yes. Clevura maintains enterprise-grade security controls including AES-256 encryption for data at rest, TLS 1.2+ for all data in transit, multi-factor authentication for all internal systems, and role-based access control. We comply with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) Safeguards Rule and maintain a formal Data Breach Response Plan. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
You have the right to dispute information we reported under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). To submit a dispute, contact us in writing at compliance@clevura.com. We will acknowledge your dispute within 5 business days and complete our investigation within 30 days (or 45 days if you provide additional information). If we find the information to be inaccurate, we will correct our records and notify Experian promptly. You can also dispute directly with Experian.
For the Credit-Builder Subscription Service, there is no minimum credit score requirement. We perform a soft credit inquiry for identity validation and fraud prevention purposes only — this does not affect your credit score. The Wyoming Installment Loan product does require a credit review as part of the underwriting process, including income verification and a debt-to-income assessment.

Building financial access through transparent, compliant credit reporting tools.
Clevura LLC · Wyoming Registered
FCRA Data Furnisher
Clevura LLC was founded with a clear belief: access to credit-building tools should not require existing wealth or connections. Millions of Americans are locked out of financial products simply because they lack the credit history to qualify — a frustrating catch-22 that Clevura is designed to solve.
We are a Wyoming-registered company operating as a licensed data furnisher under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Our platform reports structured installment accounts to major credit bureaus using the industry-standard Metro 2 format, giving consumers a legitimate, transparent path to building positive payment history.
Clevura is not a credit repair organization. We do not dispute old negatives or make promises about specific score outcomes. We do something simpler and more honest: we give you a real account, report your real payments, and let your payment history speak for itself.
